Back to Columbus

Fri Sep 11, 2009, 11:34 PM
I've been in school for three weeks now, Unfornately Sophomore year isn't any easier than freshmen , infact it's much harder. However unlike freshman year I actually care about most of my projects. Not that I didn't care before it's just that at an art college the first year is called fondations where you get exposed to every type of art, so you'll be doing drawing (cool) to painting (okay, sorta) to making abstract 3D scupltures that represent truths like soooo real they'll make your head implode. (really not cool).

So far all the classes are interesting mostly because their either fun , or extremely useful , I really like my Ad and Graphic design classes so far.

I've kept busy so far so I'll try to start uploading some of the school I get done.

*Also*
I might actually sumbit a story, (with like words n'sh*t, ya dig?)
It's going to be AWESOME! Its going to be a fanfic featuring a crossover between "Inuyahsa" , "GI Joe" and "Grease(The musical)". Main character will be Gordan Freeman and he'll find love with Olivia Newton-John while battling demons sent by Cobra.
...........................................epic.

It'll either be that or something else, either way if I do it won't be on this site, I'll open up a fictionpress.com account and drop a link here. Anyway hope everybody is doing well, now I have to get back to outlining my story (I can't decide whether to make John Travolta into an androgynous bisexual demonic alienspawn villian)

Back to school . . .and stuff

Mon Aug 17, 2009, 3:50 PM
I just got off work a few days ago , and its gave me just about a week and a half to just chill. Again sorry for not responding to any comments for the past several weeks work was pretty heavy during the summer rush, if I wasn't at work I was asleep or not at home. At least I made much money.

Thankfully I've been able to go to the beach this summer, Wednesday is going to be the big Atlantic City Airshow should be awesome , we've got the airforce thunderbirds coming in.

School at CCAD is coming up , I think I'm more relaxed about it this time than the last. The first time around I had never been outside of New Jersey I just wanted to get a degree and go back. Columbus was kinda weird ,strange people and strange things I'd never seen, didn't really think I'd care but when I came this summer I felt kinda restless just coming back to my small town for the summer. As stupid as it may sound I never really considered life outside of New Jersey. To be honest I don't think I really want to spend next summer in New Jersey, I think I want to strike it out on my own , I've got a few places in mind already.

Well thats all thats been happening till school in a few days, again apologies if I didn't respond to any messages, but hopefully I'll have the chance to respond within a resonable amount of time for now.

Summer is Busy

Thu Jul 2, 2009, 11:44 PM
I've gotten done of School at CCAD back in May. Two days after I got home I went back to my old job in town and started working there again, full time. I'm kinda exhausted since we're kinda understaffed and for the past six weeks I've had to work most days, still it's better than not having a job nowadays.
Future has kinda got me worried, Life up until this point had been so structured and predictable but entering college things have become more open ended, although I've only completed my first year and I'm already trying to make long term plans for after college.
I already know that I'm not going to draw comics or do the types of illustrations that you see here for a living. This stuff is mostly just for hobby intrest. I had planned to do illustration work for local advertisment companies and firms, a safe bet.
But even still there is no certainty that it will work out either.
Maybe it's just that there are too many options , I've always liked to have a plan for most big things. But there are too many possiblities and uncontrollable factors to arrive at a completely accurate forecast.
Or maybe it's nothing and I'm just getting apprehensive.

College

Sun Apr 19, 2009, 3:55 PM
Alright this weekends been rather lo workload wise so I can take some time to write a journal entry that is more than just a few broken phrases.

Anyway schools almost out here in CCAD and in 3 weeks I'll finally be able to go back home for the summer , which is great , I mean Columbus and Ohio are, well ,okay sorta but I really like New Jersey and I prefer my small town. Also Jersey has got a beach , nice.

I got a job back home and I also be doing volenteer work at the local wildlife refuge and maybe I'll even be able to hook up a position doing an internship at a local Advertising and graphic design agency.

Well thats about all for now hopefully as summer comes about I'll have more time to do my own work and upload some more stuff.

Anyway see you around

, Also sorry I haven't replied to any comments really is just really time constrictions to all who commented and favorited please you have my honest thanks :)
